Over the past twenty-five years, NLA Media has collected many awards, including Best of the Springs for Best Marketing Agency and even an ADDY for our TV ads. It was the day NLA Media (formerly Newell Ledbetter Advertising) opened its doors to local professionals and their businesses for all things marketing. |b: |cERIC Clearinghouse |emicrofiches : positive.April 1st, 1996, was a glorious day. Lists of resource materials are appended, including organizations and books for teachers and children topics and objectives for each grade level are keyed to pages in the guide. Sixth graders discuss animal rights, the ocean's life patterns, and maintenance of a healthy environment. Activities for fifth graders emphasize the food chain, and the natural environment of animals. Fourth graders learn about pet overpopulation and why there are laws to protect animals and people. Third graders recognize that human interference in the natural environment can cause harm to animal life, and they differentiate between proper and improper treatment of animals which entertain and provide recreation. They also identify the products that farm animals contribute to society. Second graders are engaged in caring for a pet in the classroom. First graders learn to take responsibility for pets at home and identify animals that do not make good pets. The lessons for kindergarten emphasize becoming a responsible pet owner by providing for the pet's basic needs. Student activity sheets are provided for follow-up activities. Lessons for each grade level have performance objectives, materials, and activities.
